Beleggers zijn uitgelaten over de recente deal inzake de Europese schuldencrisis. Nadat de rendementen in Europa tot 7 procent opliepen, boekte de beurzen in de VS winsten tot 4%! Maar er is nog meer opmerkelijk nieuws, via Bloomberg:

The S&P 500 jumped 4 percent to 1,292.10 at 3:25 p.m. in New York, sending its October gain to 14 percent and erasing its 2011 loss. The monthly advance of 21 percent for the Dow Jones Transportation Average, a proxy for the economy, is the highest since 1939. Benchmark gauges in France, Italy and Germany rose more than 5 percent as German and emerging-market stocks extended gains from this year’s lows to more than 20 percent. The euro topped $1.40 for the first time since Sept. 8. Ten-year Treasury yields rose 19 basis points.
